Are you a big Harry Potter fan who has always wondered what happens next? I'd wanted to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ever since it came to Toronto, and I finally went. I picked a weekday, which got me discounted tickets.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre

The Theatre

The Toronto production played at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre at 244 Victoria Street.

The theatre lobby

The theatre feels quaint and cozy, and the decorations make it warm and inviting. There were a few themed spots for photos.

The Show

The show runs about 3 hours and 20 minutes, with one intermission.

It was absolutely amazing, with plenty of jaw-dropping moments. Everything felt carefully produced and thought through, and the whole cast was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about their acting and performances.

Update: the Toronto production closed on July 2, 2023. For current productions elsewhere, see the official site.
