KFT Wholesale Cash & Carry, also known as Korean Food Trading, recently opened in Vaughan. It's a huge warehouse full of Korean food and products, and it feels a lot like Costco inside: clean, spacious and well stocked.

What They Sell

Walking the aisles, I was surprised by how much they carry: drinks, canned food, ramyeon, teas, fresh meat, Korean BBQ grills and more. I expected only Korean products, but there are regular grocery items too.

Is It Cheaper?

For a single item, prices aren't much lower than at other Korean grocery stores like Galleria, H Mart or PAT. But if you run a business, or buy two or more of something in bulk, the savings add up quickly.

Membership

KFT is a warehouse built for bulk buying, so you need a membership to shop. When I visited in 2023:

  • General membership: $20 per year
  • Business membership: $50 per year, with an annual 2% rebate on purchases

You can walk in and browse without a membership, but you can't buy anything.

I pre-registered online in February, before the store opened, and got a free one-year membership. You can sign up in the store, but registering online first saves time.

Final Thoughts

If you want to stock up on Korean food and groceries in bulk, KFT Wholesale Cash & Carry is a great option. The selection is huge, the store is clean and spacious and the bulk prices are good. No wonder it's quickly become popular with the Korean community in Vaughan and beyond.
