I've been to Yellow Cup Cafe many times, and something about it keeps bringing me back.
Yellow Cup is in Toronto's west end, across from Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke. It's cozy and charming, and the interior is decorated with a cheerful yellow theme.
The Menu
The menu covers sweet and savoury crepes, hot and cold sandwiches, waffles, the Big Country Breakfast and more. Everything is made to order, so it all comes out fresh and warm.
You can see the full menu on the Yellow Cup Cafe website.
What I've Tried
I order something different every time, and nothing has disappointed me yet. Here are a few:
Nutella Strawberry Crepes
Chicken Fajita Crepes and Nutella Strawberry Waffle
Big Country Breakfast
Fresh Seasonal Fruit Crepes
The Coffee
The coffee is another big reason I keep going. There's a good selection on both the espresso and brewed coffee menus.
They brew coffee fresh and offer both regular and flavoured versions. Most of the flavours are unusual, and it's always fun to try a new one.
They also serve fresh-squeezed orange juice, tea and desserts.
How Ordering Works
My first visit was a little confusing. You find your own seat, then order and pay at the counter, and a server brings your food when it's ready. Weekends get busy, so finding a table can be hard.
Final Thoughts
Yellow Cup Cafe is a great spot for breakfast, coffee or tea. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend it for the lovely atmosphere and great food and drinks.
